T his issue of Business Strategy and the Environment marks the seventh special issue in the Greening of Industry Network (GIN) series documenting our annual conferences since 1993. We want to thank and congratulate this year's issue editors and summary essay authors, Mark Rossi, Halina Brown and Leo Baas. We thank them for their hard work in pulling together the many threads of our 1999 conference and the sustainability debate, and we congratulate them for doing it so well!
