โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
An anisotropic magnetic thin film is considered with atomic spins, S, arranged in a lattice with inversion symmetry and arbitrary surface orientation. The Hamiltonian of the system contains the Zeeman term, the Heisenberg exchange term, and a term for the uniaxial volume anisotropy in the film plane. An implicit system of equations calculated on the basis of the Green function method is given in order to estimate all layer magnetizations in the film.
