โฆ Synopsis
Without a doubt, the preparation of this 1991 edition of Professor's memoirs, Search for the Ageless, Volume Two, has been one of the most difficult tasks I have had to face in the twelve years since Professor died and left me solely in charge of his beloved "spiritual children," his books. The book has not had a new edition since it was written in 1977, and when it finally went out of print, we discovered that the negatives were too old and brittle to be used again; hence this new edition. I admit there was a great temptation to add lengthy footnotes on almost every page, as so many things have changed in the fourteen years since the book was written, But, except for adding some archival illustrations which were not accessible to us in 1977, and just a few (short) footnotes, his original text has been left alone. After all, one's memoirs are supposed to represent things as they were when the author wrote them, and integrity is vital in all things, including the preparation of a new edition of a book.
