โœฆ Synopsis

The Gilgamesh Epic is a modern adaptation of the ancient Babylonian document of the same name. It is a mixture of science fiction, comparative religion and drama. The story, and each chapter, opens as James Gilgamesh is exploring the planet Mars and thinking back on the events that led him to this point of his life. James along with his friend and partner Geoffrey Enkidu were the epitome of business success and extreme adventure. They were indestructible and knew no failures until James suffers a tragic loss that leaves him questioning the meaning of life. James' search for ultimate truth leads him through Africa, Jerusalem and Nepal. In all his searching, James is unable to find what he considers to be a satisfactory answer. Lonely, and unable to find when he is looking for, James returns to New York. There he is greeted by one of his executives who encourages him to see his girlfriend, Nichole Fitzgerald. James slowly returns to his work but begins to spend more time with Nichole who helps to fill some of the emptiness he is feeling. On a weekend trip to New Hampshire they decide to get married. Together, they find the life for which James has been seeking.
