With 2 Figures and one Table S u m m a r y In Morocco the genus Prerocephalus ADANS. (Dipsacaceae) is represented by two species: Pterocephalus depressus COSSON & BALANSA, endemic in the Grand Atlas and Pterocephalus kunkelianus PERIS, ROMO & STUBWG sp. nova, endemic in the central part of the Rif mountains.

Information on the nomenclature, morphology, ecology and distribution of both taxa in Morocco is given here and original illustrations are also included.
