Seepage consolidation due to a rigid cylinder rolling over the surface of an elastic saturated porous half-space is considered. The dependence of the moment of rolling friction on the roller velocity is found. The standard consolidation model is modified to allow for the two-phase nature of the disc

Abstract
The problem of confined seepage of water under a hydraulic structure, through a porous medium, is considered in an appropriate abstract space. Existence and uniqueness of the solution are proved. The numerical solution is derived by means of the finite element method. An error estimate is given. A sample problems in included.

Recently, the generalized conjugacy problem(GCP) in braid groups was introduced as a candidate for cryptographic one-way function. A GCP in a braid group can be transformed into a GCP in a general linear group by the Burau representation. We study the latter problem induced in this way.
In this paper, we are interested by the following generalization for the polynomial Goldbach problem. Let A 1 , A 2 , and A 3 be coprime polynomials in the ring F q [T]. We ask the question of the representation of a polynomial M # F q [T ] as a sum where P 1 , P 2 , P 3 are irreducible polynomials
