โฆ Synopsis
The emission spectra of Y,_,Gd,O,S and Y, _&d,Fs under X-ray excitation at 300 K are reported and discussed. Several Stokes and anti-Stokes emission lines are reported. Their relative intensities agree with theoretical predictions. For high values of x the vibronic transitions become more intense. For the fluoride system several emission transitions from levels higher then 6P are observed.
