About the Author
Alanna Kaufman (New York, NY) is originally from Bethesda, MD. She has always loved writing, and served as city news editor of the Daily Pennsylvanian while attending the University of Pennsylvania with Alex. She also spent a year writing for Slashfood, AOL?s food blog. In addition to writing for Two Fat Als, Kaufman is also attending graduate school in New York City.
Alex Small (New York, NY) grew up in Easton, CT, where he began experimenting in the kitchen at an early age. He met Alanna at the University of Pennsylvania in 2005, while serving as a senior photography editor at the Daily Pennsylvanian. In 2006, the pair created the popular food blog, Two Fat Als, for which Alex manages the web design and photography. He is currently living in New York City, attending graduate school.
