✦ Synopsis

A theoretical model is given for the unsteady-state behaviour of a plate gas absorption column and the theoretical frequency responses are derived. Experimental frequency responses obtained on a 4-in. i.d. six-plate absorption column operating with the system air-ammonia-water are presented.
