✦ Synopsis

This paper summarizeS the basic idea of coupling of density perturbation modes in Newtonian cosmology and the formation of primordial stars.

The way of deriving the sccond-order differential equation governing the growth of two coupled adiabatic density perturbation modes in the matter era is briefly discusscd. A Jeans criterion for the growth of short wavelength perturbations is given. A mechanism is proposcd for the cosmological origin of Population I11 stars.

In der vorliegcndcn Arbcit

wird der Gedanke eiacr Kopplung von Dichtest6rungsmoden im Rahmen der Ncwtonschen Kosmologie und die damit verbundene Entstehung von primordialcn Sterncn erl8utert. Das Anwachsen von zwei gckoppcltcn adiabatischen Dichtcst6ruogsmodm in der matcritdominicrcndcn Phase der Entwicklung dcs Univcrsums wird durch cine Differcntialgkichung zwcitcr Ordnung Lmchrieben, deren Herlcitung skiniert wird. Ein Jeans-Kriterium fiir das Anwachscn von Dkhtestbrungen kkincr Wellcnlsinge wird angegcben. In d i m r Hinsicht wird ein Mechanismus vorpschlagcn, der den kosmologischen Ursprung von Stemen dcr Population 111 erkllircn kann.
