The analytical application of an iodide solid-state ion-selective electrode is described for the titration, in the low mg 1-i range, of polyanions with hexadecylbenzyldimethylammonium chloride, a cationic surfactant. Reliable calibration graphs were obtained at concentrations up to 10 mg 1 -'. The f
