β¦ Synopsis
The properties of the response function and the uctuation dissipation relation in phase-ordering systems are discussed. These issues are shown to be highly nontrivial even in the relatively simple case of coarsening dynamics considered here. It is discussed how the connection between statics and dynamics fails in particular cases and the origin of this phenomenon is considered.

## Abstract The random phase approximation is reformulated to investigate the anisotropic fluctuations about an ordered polymer phase. This very general method is applied to the lamellar phase of block copolymers. The calculated anisotropic scattering intensity captures the main features observed e
