## Abstract Tickโ€borne encephalitis virus (TBEV) is a severe problem in Estonia. In the present article the first genetic analysis of Estonian TBEV strains is described. In total, seven TBEV strains were isolated from ticks (__Ixodes ricinus__ and __I. persulcaus__), rodents (__Apodemus agrarius__
