β¦ Synopsis
Spacewoman, smuggler, poet, spy.
Hester needs to get away from Earth. To get to Mars sheβs told a teeny tiny little lie. She said she was a poet. And sheβs not.
Now somehow sheβs the first and only Poet Laureate of Mars. What could possibly go wrong?
Tolly is an augmented human in charge of mapping the surface of Mars. But when he finds something he's not supposed to see his own people want to wipe his memory. And he can't let that happen.
Hester might be able to help Tolly, but sheβll have to get over her own hatred of the Augments first. Sheβs going to have to prevent the biggest war that Mars has ever seen. And thereβs always the worry that sheβs going to run out of rhymes for βdustβ.
