✦ Synopsis

The first example of aza-Nenitzescu reaction is described. Tile interaction of azaenaminebenzaldghyde phenylhydrazone with p-benzoquinone and cltiorobenzoquinone leads to a new synthesis of 5-hydroxyindazoles and indazole quinones.
