✦ Synopsis

Fatigue tests were performed on LY 12CZ aluminum alloy by combining macro-and micro-analysis. Then, samples were taken of fatigue samples for different cycle numbers. The change in its microstructure in the fatigue process was observed under a transmission electron microscope. The relationship between damage and microparameters, the value to be taken for the size of the damaged region, the damage criterion and evolution equation are studied from the point of view of damage mechanics.
