✦ Synopsis

A method is described for obtaining collimated beams of high-energy particles, in particular n-mesons, based on the use of the electromagnet yoke as the main shield from the direct radiation of the accelerator. By placing collimators in channels drilled in the electromagnet yoke, beams of p-mesons with energies up to 400 MeV have been obtained, channels in the yoke, and P. T. PAVLOV for the design of the collimators.
