✦ Synopsis
The excess volumes (V^{E}) of {dibutylamine + diethyl ether or dipropyl ether or di-1-methylethyl ether or dibutyl ether or 1,1-dimethylethyl methyl ether or 1,1-dimethylpropyl methyl ether or tetrahydrofuran or tetrahydropyran or 1,4-dioxane have been measured over the whole composition range at the temperature (298.15 \mathrm{~K}) in order to investigate dibulylamine-ether interactions. The (V^{E}) values for each of the mixtures studied are negative with the exception of (dibutylamine + dibutyl ether or tetrahydrofuran or tetrahydropyran or 1,4 dioxane). For each of the sets of (\left[x\left{\mathrm{CH}{3}\left(\mathrm{CH}{2}\right){3}\right}{2} \mathrm{NH}+(1-x) \mathrm{ROR}^{\prime}\right]), with (\mathrm{ROR}^{\prime}) a straight-chain ether or a branched-chain ether or a cyclic ether, (V_{\mathrm{m}}^{\mathrm{E}}) increases with increasing molar mass of the (\mathrm{ROR}^{\prime}).
