✦ Synopsis

The excess molar enthaipies Hi for {xCCl,F, + (1 -x)CH,CON(CH,),} mixtures were measured from 263.15 to 413.15 K in the pressure range of 4.33 to 4.53 MPa usmg isothermal flow calorimeters. The mixtures showed endotnermic and exothermic behavior. The HE values become successively more negative for 363. 15, 383.15, 393.15, and 403.15 K. The Redlich-Kister equation gave a good fit of@,(x) over the entIre composition range for the temperatures between 263.15 and 383.15 K. The fits for 393.15,,403.15, and 413.15 K were not as good. The changes in Hi with temperature are discussed in terms Of apprOachifIg the critical temperature of dichlorcdifluoromethane and the effect this has on the physical properties of the pure components and the mixture.
