Abstract
The Euro3D Research Training Network, dedicated to promote the use of 3D spectrography in the astronomical community, has setup a new data format, adhering to the FITS standards, to facilitate data exchange and common software developments. This article is intended to present the C library handling this format. It is not intended to be a full description of the possibilities offered by the library, but attempts to enlighten the philosophy and illustrate with some examples how powerful it can be.
