The composition of the essential oil of Neperu nuda L. ssp. ulbipora (Boiss.) Gams (Lamiaceae) was analysed by means of capillary GC and GC-MS. The main components, accounting for 75.1% of the oil, were 4aa,7a,7aanepetalactone (37.5%) and 4aa,7~,7afhepetalactone (37.6%). The sesquiterpene fraction a
