✦ Synopsis

The new energy release rate equation for the crack problem with centrifugal loads is presented. Using the concept of the shape design sensitivity, the final analytical equation is derived by the energy principle and the material derivative. Any numerical tool such as the finite element method can be applied to the resulting equation. In contrast to past works, the functional which is derived in this paper does not involve the derivatives of displacements near the crack tip. The present equation is path-independent and equivalent to the existing J-integral, because the former can be readily converted into the latter. Hence, the numerical accuracy in computation of the energy release rate is improved. Several examples are treated to demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method compared to existing methods.

## Abstract This article addresses the well‐known Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP), in the special case where the demand of a customer consists of a certain number of two‐dimensional weighted items. The problem calls for the minimization of the cost of transportation needed for the delive
