✦ Synopsis
we prove that the energy of solutions of the modified von K&m&n system of a thermoelastic plate decays with the rate as t + +oo where C and w are positive constants which are independent of the solution. This improves an earlier result in which we claimed the decay rate to be of the order of exp(-wt/(l + E2(0)) and provides a simpler and complete proof.
