โœฆ Synopsis


The developmental profile of fatty acid elongation enzymes of rat brain microsomes and mitochondria and the consequences of pyridoxine deficiency have been investigated. The results suggest that a single enzyme system is responsible for elongation of the various fatty acids by mitochondria whereas the microsomal elongation system is diverse.
