Abstract

Electroreduction of carbon dioxide in acetonitrile in the presence of butadiene gives rise to the formation of 3‐pentenoic acid (2), 3‐hexenedioic acid (3), and 3,7‐deca‐dienedioic and two isomeric C~10~‐dicarboxylic acids (4) in high chemical yields.
