Abstract
Electroreduction of carbon dioxide in acetonitrile in the presence of butadiene gives rise to the formation of 3βpentenoic acid (2), 3βhexenedioic acid (3), and 3,7βdecaβdienedioic and two isomeric C~10~βdicarboxylic acids (4) in high chemical yields.
