โฆ Synopsis
Hexavalent molybdenum was reduced electrochemically in a neutral solution containing tartrate ion. The formation of a complex of MO(W) with tartrate ion was confirmed by means of w spectroscopy and potentiometry. The polarographic wave was kinetic at higher pH or lower concentration of tartrate ion, and the electrochemical reaction was proceeded by the protonation reaction in which the electro-active species MOO, (Htar):-was produced.
