โœฆ Synopsis

General expressions are derived for the field distribution due to a single rectangular turn of thin wire, excited by a sinusoidal current (at UL or VL frequencies) and placed at an arbitrary position above the stratified ground. The results are of relevance to the theory of radio communications at these frequencies, in addition to established techniques of non-destructive testing.

The electromagnetic field of a current loop buried at an arbitrary angle (with respect to the vertical direction) in a stratljied conducting ground is studied. A triple spatial Fourier transform is used in order to jind integral representations of the field components. These representations are brou
