✦ Synopsis


Preliminary results on the electrical conductance of HBr in dimethylsulphoxide at different temperatures are reported. Results are in principle interpreted with the Fuoss-Qnsager equations for the electrical conductance of associated f-l electrolytes. The estimated association constant related to ion-pair formation is about 10, a value smaller than the one reported earlier for HCl in the same solvent. R&sum&-Resultats ptiliminaires sur la conductance 6lectrique de HBr dans It dim&thy]-sulfoxyde Zt ditfdrentes temperatures. 11s sont en principe interpr&ables par les equations de Fuoss-Qnsager, regissant la conductance electrique des 6lectrolytes associb de type 1-l. La constante d'association relative a la formation d'une paire d'ions est de l'ordre de 10, valeur plus petite que celle rapport& prOr6demment pour HCl dam le m&me solvant. Zusammenfassung-Vorbiufige Ergebnisse fur den elektrischen Lcitwert van HBr bei verschiedenen Temperaturen in Dimethylsulfoxyd werden angegeben. Die Resultate werden im Prinxip mit den Fuoss-Qnsager Gleichungen fiir den elektrischen Leitwert von assoziierten l-l Elektrolyten ausgedeutet. Die geschatzte Assoziierungskonstante in Bezug auf Ionen-Paarbildung ist etwa 10, ein kleinerer Wert, als der frtiher fiir HCl in gleichem Liisungsmittel gegebene.

## Abstract Anomalies in the temperature dependence of the conductivity of BF~4~^−^ doped polypyrrole were observed in cyclic measurements at temperatures between 250 K and 310 K. The anomalies were accompanied by endothermic effects in differential scanning calorimetry and are interpreted as being
