Milton Lesser (1928-2008) is one such unjustly forgotten author. Lesser published a 8 science fiction novels (and more than 100 short stories) under many pseudonyms (as well as his own name) in the 1950s. He found fame in the mystery field writing as Stephen Marlowe--and legally changed his name to Stephen Marlowe!
