Abstract

In the present paper, the results of theoretical investigations of a lens' dispersion characteristics and the field intensity of propagated through a lens spatial‐limited femtosecond pulses with a duration of several optical periods are presented. The dependences of group delay and group velocity dispersion that are introduced by the lens versus spatial coordinates and frequencies are obtained. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
