✦ Synopsis
Abstract
Vitellogenin synthesis by mosquito (Aedes aegypti) fat body is stimulated by incubation with ecdysterone. α‐amanitin and cordycepin prevent the response to ecdysterone. These results support the hypothesis that ecdysterone regulates vitellogenin synthesis at the transcriptional level.
