Male C57B1/6 mice were treated for 5 days with 0.05% perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) in their diet. This treatment resulted in a potent induction of peroxisomal fatty acid poxidation in the liver. In order to investigate recovery from treatment with PFOA, mice were given normal laboratory chow for up
