✦ Synopsis

Most studies of panel unit test (PUT) believe that their tests could be extended to panel cointegration test (PCT) directly since PUT and PCT converge sequentially to standard normal distribution in the absence of trends and autocorrelation. But the difference between PUT and PCT cannot be ignored when the cross-section dimensions n is small, especially when n equals 1. In this paper, we examine the effects of cross-sectional dimension n in the translation from PUT to PCT. Based on the numerical simulations, it turns out that although the difference between PUT and PCT decreases with increased value of n, the difference could be ignored in general application only when n is larger than 90.

The first measurement of the glory structure of the total integral cross section for the scattering of N2 against N2 is reported for the collision velocity range 500-3000 m s -l. A comparison is made between the measured structure and calculations carried out within the infinite-order sudden dynamic

## Abstract This paper use both single period cross‐section data as well as panel data for the period 1970 to 1990 (largely obtained from version 6.1 of the Penn World Tables) to identify the determinants of Africa's growth in per capita GDP, as well as to evaluate the empirical relevance of recent
