Abstract
The ^19^F and ^31^P NMR spectral parameters of a series of meta and para substituted phenylphosphonic difluorides were found to be linearly related to the substituent parameters: the phosphorus chemical shifts correlated with Hammett's Ο constant, the fluorine chemical shifts with Taft's Ο~R~ parameter and the phosphorusβfluorine coupling constants with Ο^+^.
