โฆ Synopsis
NITROGEN MUS-T tard (HNZ) on the hematopoietic system have been repeatedly documented in animals and in man. Bertinchamps et al.1 demonstrated that administration of H N 2 temporarily decreased the rate of turnover of plasma iron.
The plasma radioiron clearance Ty2, the time necessary for a 50y0 reduction in the radioactivity of the plasma sample, increased sharply between the second and fourth day after H N 2 administration and returned to preinjection levels between the tenth and fifteenth day. Plasma iron concentrations similarly initially increased and then decreased.
