✦ Synopsis

The effect of lateral interactions between adsorbed particles on thermal desorption spectra is analyzed using the transfer-matrix technique. The results are compared with thermal desorption spectra calculated by other analytical approaches (the quasi-chemical and mean-field approximations) and by the Monte Carlo method.
