β¦ Synopsis
The effect of Nd203 on thermal and ballistic properties of ammonium perchlorate (AP) based composite propellant has been studied during this work. The composite propellant batches were prepared by slurry cast technique using sigma blade mixer. Ballistic parameters were determined by acoustic emission technique. Significantly, lower pressure index values in lower pressure range (SO-70 kg/cm') and higher pressure index values in higher pressure range (70-125 kg/cm') were achieved when NdzOa was used in place of Fez03 . DSC studies suggest that NdzOa promotes exothermic reaction in condensed phase which compensate heat sink effect unlike in case of Fe203 .

## Abstract A study is conducted to determine the effect of acoustic field on the thermal conductivity of composite propellants based on polyβ butadiene and polyurethane binders. The thermal conductivity of the propellant is determined by a specially designed equipment. The thermal conductivity mea
Aging behavior of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene/ammonium perchlorate (HTPB/AP)-based composite solid propellants was studied as a function of crosslink density, which is predominantly determined by the molar ratio of diisocyanate to total hydroxyl (NCO/OH ratio) and the molar ratio of triol to d
