Previous work (Loeb, 1972) showed that strobilation could be induced in Chrysaora quinquecirrha (Desor) by subjecting polyps ~o a period of chilling followed by wanning. It is shown here, that the onset of strobilation and the rate at which this process occurs in a population of C. quinquecirrha pol
