✦ Synopsis

As shown by electron spin resonance, crystallization of the dispersion phase of octadecane in water emulsions results in displacement of solutes from the bulk of droplets to their interface. As a result, the rate of interfacial reactions more than doubles. Some methods of regulating chemical reactions are considered.
