A combination dHvA and resistivity measurements investigations on a single crystal of the heavy fermion superconductor CeCu$$ has revealed a hitherto hidden complexity in the B-T phase diagram. As well as the superconducting-normal phase boundary, with Tc=0.72K and Bc2= 1.5T, a double magnetic trans
We show that, owing to a decrease in the dipolar energy, the soft cores of the nonsingular, doubly quantized vortices in 3He-A expand and become ellipsoidal upon approaching the A1 phase. Results of zero sound experiments in rotating 3 He-A2, very near the A2A1 transition, support this conclusion. T
