Haloperidol and other dopaminergic (DA) blockers have long been known to induce catalepsy. Recently, it has been reported that nicotine potentiates the cataleptic effect of haloperidol. However, this presents a quandary in terms of neural interactions between nicotinic and DA systems. Nicotine promo
