✦ Synopsis
The et&t of various lignin preparations on the changes of electrokinetic surface properties of polypropylene was examined. The observed differences in zeta potential behavior of the lignin-free and lignin containing polypropylene films indicate specific interactions between both polymer components resulting in increase of hydrophilicity of polypropylene surface.

## Abstract A commercial clay, Cloisite®20A (C20A) was modified with three different silane compounds, propyltrimethoxy silane, octyltrimethoxy silane, and octadecyltrimethoxy silane, to control the hydrophobicity of C20A. The amount of the silane compounds grafted to C20A was quantified from the w
