✦ Synopsis

Precision measurements of the e~ -+ r~ cross section and forward-backward asymmetry at a centre-of-mass energies around 91 GeV from the LEP Collaborations are presented. The results are found to be in good agreement with the standard model. In addition, the results from LEP-II at centre-of-mass energies between 130 and 189 GeV are presented.
