✦ Synopsis

The quenching of pyrene ffuorescence by I-in aqueous d~e~l~me~y~mrno~urn chloride (DDTAC) solutions was found to follow non-exponential behaviour. Analysis of the fluorescence decays according to the model proposed by Dederer et al. allows for a detailed quantitative description of the dynamic betivioux of I' in micellar DDTAC solutions.
