Kristian Alva was born into a family of writers and teachers. She worked as a staff writer and a ghostwriter before publishing her own manuscripts. She released her first book in 2007. She currently lives in California with her husband and son. When she’s not writing, she enjoys reading all genres, especially epic fantasy.
