β¦ Synopsis
The Dirac problem of the Hamiltonian formalism of systems with constraints and the realization of constraints by small masses [1, 2] is considered. It is shown that, with a mass tending towards zero under certain initial conditions, limiting motions exist and match the motions of the Hamiltonian system with constraints. The results obtained are used in the problem of realizing a unilateral holonomic constraint.
