All Henrietta “Harri” McCoy wants out of this summer is to rest from med school and maybe meet some new friends. However, she knows it’s not likely. First of all, she hasn’t met another gay woman since being back at home. Then, her parents insists on a rigid and tiring studying schedule. There’s nothing for her to do but to comply. They’re the ones who pay for her tuition. They’re the ones who invested so much in her future. Now, she has to do her part.

With no job and nothing to her name except forty thousand dollars’ worth of debt, Margaret “Meg” Grant finds herself living with her youngest brother and trying to find a job. She wants something steady so she can stop worrying and fix her life.
