The development of photosynthetic light reactions (photoreduction and photophosphorylation) was studied in cotyledons of cultured embryos isolated from stratified and non-stratified apple seeds (Malus domestica Borb. cv. Anton6wka). The results obtained show the presence of an energy transfer inhibitor in the cotyledons of the stratified embryo s.
