โœฆ Synopsis

It is well known that the aerodynamic lift greatly influences the vehicle dynamic performance. In this paper, we proposed a method to obtain the optimum lift coefficient while considering the chassis parameters and the desirable values on the vehicle dynamic characteristics. This method is based on the vehicle dynamic analysis. Also we verified the validity of this calculation comparing with the estimation result of real cars. Furthermore, we showed that the optimum lift coefficient was different depending on the chassis parameters.

In this paper, a fast Fourier transforms (FFT)-based spectral analysis method is introduced for the dynamic analysis of the linear discrete dynamic systems subjected to the non-zero initial conditions. The FFT-based spectral analysis method is developed first for the one degree-of-freedom (dof) syst
