Abstract

The Martin‐Brightwell modification of the Wileoxon‐Holaday mercury reduction method, which was drawn up for the evaluation of pyrethrum preparation in mineral oil containing o% of total pyrethrums, have been critically examined and modified to give accurate results for dilute preparations containing less than 0·2% total pyrethrums.
